Salmon in mustard
Ingredients:
250 gms Salmon pieces
little salt, haldi and red chilly powder.
mustard paste
2 tbsp of mustard oil
1 tsp of grated ginger
2/3 green chillies
1 tsp haldi and red chilly powder each,
1 tsp sugar
1 ½ cup water
2 tbsp coriander leaf, finely chopped
Rub the salmon pieces it with little salt, haldi and red chilly powder. Lightly fry the fish and keep aside. Heat 2 tbsp of mustard oil, add 1 tsp grated ginger ,2/3 green chillies and the mustard paste. Stir fry for ½ minutes. Add 1 tsp sugar, haldi and red chilly powder. Reduce heat and stir for a minute. Add 1 ½ cup water and bring to boil ,add the lightly fried fish and cook till the gravy is thick. Take care not to stir the fish too much as the fish will tend to break. Transfer to a shallow bowl, garnish with chopped coriander leaf. Served with white rice and chilled Thunderbird wine.
