Chak's Malai Palak
Ingredients :-
250 gms green fresh Spinach (Palak)
100 gms fresh green Peas
2 medium size Potatoes
2 tsp Garlic paste
2 tsp Ginger paste
2 dry red chillies
½ tsp Mustered seed
½ cup fresh Cream
1 Onion finely chopped
4 tbsp Butter
Salt to taste
Preparation :- Boil the Palak in a pan with a pinch of salt and drain out the water. Boil the potatoes separately. Wet grind Palak and potatoes in a mixer along with Garlic & Ginger paste. Heat the butter oil in a deep pan and add the dry chillies and the mustard seeds. When the seeds starts crackling add the chopped onions and stir-fry till golden brown. Add the Palak/Potato mixture in the pan and stir well. Add the green peas and salt to taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes and take out in the serving dish. Add the cream on top and stir lightly only once; you should get those white and green swirls that make a dish look so appetizing. Serve hot with Parathas or Rotis.
